Maranda Nyborg recorded a career-high 19 points, and
Nia Scott tallied a ten-point and 11 rebounds double-double in the Bryant University women's basketball teams' 60-53 victory against Cornell.
The Black and Gold improved to 5-1 and went 3-1 during this four-game road trip.

How it Happened
- The Bulldogs jumped out on an 11-0 run in the first six minutes of play, as Scott tallied six and Boba recorded five, including a made three-pointer.
- The Black and Gold would score six more on a Mia Mancini and Breezie Williams three-pointer before the Big Red scored their first points of the game with a minute and a half remaining in the quarter (17-2). Cornell would score one more bucket to end the quarter (17-4).
- Bryant continued their momentum with a 5-0 run in the first three minutes of the second quarter (22-4).
- The Big Red countered for the remainder of the first half, outscoring the Bulldogs 14-7, giving Bryant a 28-18 lead at the half.
- The first six minutes of the second half were a back-and-forth affair, with the Black and Gold earning a 16-11 edge, resulting in a 44-29 lead at the media timeout. Nyborg led the charge for Bryant, scoring eight of the eleven points.
- Cornell stormed back for the remainder of the third quarter, going on a 13-2 run, shrinking the Bulldog lead to four (46-42) heading into the fourth quarter.
- The Big Red went on a 6-0 run in the first three minutes of the fourth quarter to take a two-point lead (48-46).
- The Bulldogs countered with a 5-0 run, in which Mancini tallied three, and Martina Boba converted a fastbreak layup off of a steal and dish from Williams (51-48).
- Cornell would tie the game at 51, and then Bryant ended the game on a 9-2 scoring run to earn a 60-53 victory.
