Bryant Falls To UVM In The America East Championship

BURLINGTON, VT– In the America East Championship, Bryant fell to No.2 seed UVM on the road, the final being 2-1, Vermont.

In this America East postseason rematch, the Bulldogs and UVM fought 67 minutes in a scoreless match before Catamount, Marcell Papp, sent one in, past Hadjigavriel, putting UVM up 1-0 with 22 minutes left to go. Bryant's Marc Pitarch then answered back with his ninth goal of the season, shooting fast past UVM's keeper for a good one. Ultimately, UVM put themselves up one to end the match and clinch a victory over Bryant, scoring off a corner with less than ten minutes to go. 


The Bulldogs have now made two appearances in the America East championship, with a record of 1-1 in title.
