SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant field hockey team fell to Brown, 5-0, on Sunday afternoon.
With the loss, the Bulldogs have now lost five straight games and fall to 3-8.
Sara DeSousa set a new career high with 12 saves.

- Coming off an eight-goal explosion on Friday, Brown got it going just three minutes in on Sunday. Zoe Lawrence slotted home a pass.

- Gretchen Scott fired home a penalty corner to close the scoring.
Bryant Notes and Notables
- Bryant falls to 4-10 all-time vs Brown. Sunday was the first time since 2013 that Bryant-Brown was played in Smithfield.
- DeSousa set a new career high with 12 saves.
