Bryant Falls To UNH In A Rematch At Home

SMITHFIELD, RI –  Bryant falls to UNH in a close contest at Beirne Stadium.

Bryant's Miguel Rodeia struck first, just three minutes into the half. However, UNH quickly responded with four shots on goal, two of which found the back of the net. UNH tied the game at the half and then took the lead with 20 minutes left in the match.

Bryant is now this (6-3-2) Season.

  • Miguel Rodeia capitalized on a free kick early in the match. Rodeia faked out UNH's defense and drove the ball into the net with a right-foot strike, high, past the goalkeeper's defense.

  • 3:46 - Miguel Rodeia stuck early, taking advantage of a Bryant free kick right outside the 18. Rodeia riffled it past the goalie into the right side of the net.
  • 38:36 - UNH forward, Terry Makedika scored with seven minutes to go in the first half, striking the ball past Hadjigavriel's hands and into the low right corner of the net.
  • 61:56 - Matthew Goncalves controlled the header off of Matteo Brossel's corner kick late into the second half sneaking past Bryant's defense and into the goal.
