Bryant Takes Down Binghamton 4-1 At Home


SMITHFIELD, R.I. –  In an America East matchup, Bryant took down Binghamton at home, 4-1, thanks to three goals in a two minute stretch early on in the first half.

The Bulldogs posted four different goal scorers tonight at Beirne Stadium; Oscar Sears, Marc Pitarch Bayot, Jose Alves Faria and Sam White. With Sears setting the tone, the Bulldogs fired off one shot after another, landing three shots in the back of the net early on in the match.

Bryant is now 8-4-3 overall and 3-2-0 in America East play.

  • Binghamton's Evan Gaven, shot back left into the net putting the Bearcats up 1-0 early in the match.
  • Off of Marc Pitarch Bayot's touch, Oscar Sears struck the ball into the back of the net from behind the eighteen to equalize the match.
  • Catching the ricochet ball from off the goalkeeper, Marc Pitarch Bayot tapped it to the back of the net to grab goal number two of the match.
  • Jose Alves Faria, with an assist from Talabi, duck in from the right side off the box to receive Talabi's cross, striking it into the net after drawing the keeper out.
