WEST LONG BEACH, N.J. – The Bryant University football team fell to Monmouth in New Jersey by a score of 55-17 in New Jersey.
Keylijah Williams recorded a DI program record 279 return yards while also running an 86-yard return for his first career touchdown.
Brennan Myer replaced an injured
Jarrett Guest, tallied 105 yards, and threw his first collegiate touchdown to
Drew Montez.
Fabrice Mukendi recorded 93 all-purpose yards (79 rush and 14 recieving).
Landon Ruggieri tallied five receptions for 95 yards and now moves to third all-time in receiving yards with 2,178.
Hollis Dirstine had seven career tackles, while
Bryce Soli knocked in a career-long 41-yard field goal.

- Monmouth jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter before Williams returned a kick for the Bulldog's first score (21-7).
How it Happened
- Monmouth elected to receive and produced a 12-play drive, resulting in a five-yard rushing TD (7-0) for the game's first score.
- The Hawks took over from their 36-yard line after the Bulldogs didn't convert on 4th down, leading to a 64-yard rushing TD (14-0).
- Monmouth began their third drive close to mid-field and then had a six-play TD drive, which was scored on a direct snap from the one-yard line (21-0).
- On the following kickoff, Williams caught the kick on the 14 and then cut through Monmouth defenders for an 86-yard kickoff return TD to get the Bulldogs on the board (21-7).
- The Hawks added to their lead off of a 16-yard TD pass that was the tail end of a six-play drive (27-7).
- The Bulldogs gained possession with 1:30 left in the half. The drive was carried by Mukendi, who recorded 17 yards on three different plays, putting the Black and Gold in field goal position. Bryce Soli then nailed a 41-yard FG to end the half (27-10).
- The Black and Gold were stopped on 4th down, and the Hawks then recorded a 13-play 93-yard drive, which was scored on a rushing TD (34-10).
- Monmouth would score a Touchdown on the next two drives, one off of a seven-yard TD pass and the other on a 2-yard rushing score (48-10).
- The Hawks tallied their final points of the game on a ten-yard pass to the corner (55-10).
- With Myer at Quarterback, he completed a 16-yard pass to Montez, a short pass to Ruggieri, and then a six-yard TD to Montez in the corner of the endzone (55-17).
