SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University men's tennis team opened its fall season with a 7-0 victory over Nichols on Sunday at the Bryant Tennis Courts. 
The win is the first for head coach Jorge Isaias Ortiz-Garcia, who is in his first season with the Black and Gold. 
How it Happened
- Bryant won the doubles points, clinching with victories at No. 2 and No. 1.
 
- The Black and Gold secured the sweep with a 7-6 (7-4) win at No. 3 doubles.
 
- In singles, Bryant won all six matches in straight sets. 
 
- Jose Davila, Agustin Suarez and Daniel Baquero all won their first matches with the Bulldogs.
