Box Score EASTON, MASS. – The Bryant women's volleyball team won its Wednesday match at Stonehill by a score of 3-1. The Bulldogs would win their final two sets to help the team get back to .500 before their weekend series of matches.

"While we didn't have a great serve pass match, our setters did a great job getting the ball to the hot hand. Sophomore Lea Mackey really stepped up at the net. She came up with some big kills when we needed it. Nina Gavin also had a breakout match hitting .500. Brookelyn stepped up as well, leading us in total points."
HOW IT HAPPENED (at Stonehill)

Set 1 – Stonehill got off to a hot start and would hold a 7-3 lead. Bryant rallied and tied the score at 11 before taking the lead for good on a Brookelyn Talmadge block. Josie Deluga led the set with 8 digs and Arianna Ugolini recorded 5 kills including the deciding point to win the set 25-19.

Set 2 – The Bulldogs and Skyhawks exchanged leads early on in the set before Stonehill would jump out to an eight point lead. A pair of service aces from Madison Koeller and Carrina Barron along with kills from Aubrey Lapour, Carolina Camacho, and Brookelyn Talmadge would help shrink the deficit to two however, Stonehill would hold on to win 25-22. Stonehill's Emma Graves would record 3 kills in the set and Amaya Parnell had 2 service aces.

Set 3 –Bryant bounced back early in the third set and jumped out to a 3-2 lead that they would not relinquish. Lea Mackey and Brookelyn Talmadge each collected 4 kills. Carolina Camacho recorded 5 assists and 3 digs and would win the set on a service ace. The final score: 25-19.

Set 4 –Despite Stonehill challenging early on, Bryant would ride their previous set's momentum and win by a score of 25-13 on a Carrina Barron service ace. Lea Mackey would total another 3 kills as well as 2 block assists.
