Box Score PROVIDENCE – Earl Timberlake posted a double-double and Miles Latimer provided a second-half spark as the Bryant University men's basketball team rallied from a 10-point deficit to earn a 69-66 victory over in-state rival Brown on Friday night at the Pizzitola Center.
With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 5-4 on the season and have now won back-to-back games in Providence.
Timberlake played 38 minutes and produced his fourth double-double of the year with 10 points and 12 rebounds. He was also a force defensively, blocking five shots. Rafael Pinzon led Bryant with 15 points, while Sherif Gross-Bullock (11) and Daniel Rivera (10) each finished in double figures.
It was Latimer's nine points, however, that were the spark Bryant needed. Latimer scored all nine in the final 9:57 of the game, helping the Black and Gold erase the deficit. He scored five-straight points at the 7:30 mark, turning a two-point deficit into a three-point Bryant lead.

How it Happened
- It was nip-and-tuck from the start on Friday night on the East Side.
- Bryant was able to take the early lead as Brelsford sank three free throws after getting fouled.
- The Bears would take their first lead as Felix Kloman converted a three-point play in transition at 15:55.
- Kino Lilly Jr. and Kloman would then hit back-to-back threes to give the Bears a 14-11 lead.
- Bryant would score the next six, with a Pinzon triple from the top making it 17-14 in favor of Bryant.
- Timberlake would give Bryant a 23-20 edge at the under-8 media as he slashed to the rim in transition.
- Bryant's lead would hit six as Gross-Bullock knocked down a three from the top.
- The Bears, however, would answer with a 7-0 run to take a 27-26 lead with 5:16 left.
- It was short lived as Pinzon would swish a triple from the left wing on the next Bryant possession.
- Brown would take a 32-29 to the under-4 media as Kalua Anya finished an offensive rebound for an and-one.

- Bryant would finally claw its way back in front behind Latimer. He finished an acrobatic layup underneath before overpowering his man at the rim to tie the game. Bryant then got a stop and Latimer rattled home a rhythm three from the wing to make it 60-57 and force a Brown timeout.
- The Bulldogs would push the lead to six but the Bears cut it to one, 65-64, on a three from the top with 3:25 left in the game.
- Bryant's defense then took over, holding Brown scoreless over the final 2:49.
- Rivera and Owusu-Anane traded big dunks to make it 67-66 with 2:49 to play.
- After a Pinzon free throw, Brelsford played incredible defense on Lilly, forcing a missed shot that Bryant rebounded with 33 seconds on the clock.
