SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University women's tennis team split a pair of matches over the weekend, falling to Long Island before defeating Fairfield.

Bryant lost to LIU, 5-2, and rebounded to beat the Stags, 5-2.

• LIU claimed the match with five singles victories. 
• Rondini posted Bryant's lone singles victory, 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4.
