CUMBERLAND, R.I. – The Bryant University women's tennis team closed its weekend with a 4-2 victory over Hofstra on Sunday morning at Fore Court.

How It Happened

• The Pride grabbed the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2. Leanne Kendall (Lakeville, Mass.) and Manuela Gomez Estrada (Guayaquil, Ecuador) gave Bryant a lead but Hofstra followed with wins at 1 and 2.
• Bryant opened singles with at No. 4 on a retirement victory. The Bulldogs then took a 2-1 lead as Sarah Hickey (Toronto, Ont.) won 6-3, 6-3.
• The Pride tied the match with a win at No. 2 but the Black and Gold responded with wins at No. 3 and No. 5.
• Arianna Oropeza (Weston, Fla.) won 6-1, 6-4 at No. 3 and Kendall closed it out with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 5.
