How It Happened

• The Minutewomen took the doubles point with victories at 1 and 3.
• Megan Tan (Calgary, Alberta) and Aleksi Gottlieb (Plantation, Fla.) were up 5-4 at 2 when the match went unfinished.
• UMass won five of the six singles matches. Amber Paterson (Inverness, Scotland) claimed the only point at 6.
• Tan sent her match to three sets at 3, winning the first set 7-5.
