HAMDEN, Conn. – The Bryant University women's tennis team picked up a 5-2 victory over Quinnipiac on Thursday afternoon.
How it Happened
- Bryant jumped out to a 1-0 lead with a clean sweep of doubles play. Ada Boru (Istanbul, Turkey) and Sarah Hickey (Toronto, Ont.) won their eight-straight match at No. 1 doubles and are now 12-4 on the year.
- The Bulldogs took four of the six singles matches, with Leanne Kendall (Lakeville, Mass.) earning the clinching point at No. 5.
- Oropeza matched her win total from last as she claimed her 15th victory of the year at No. 2.
- Aleksi Gottlieb (Plantation, Fla.) won her 12th match of the year with a victory at No. 4.
