SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's tennis team earned a decisive 7-0 victory over Monmouth on Saturday afternoon.

Bryant won all seven matches, including an exhibition match, to earn the win. The match was played at URI.

How it Happened

• The Bulldogs opened the day with a dominating performance in doubles, dropping just two games. Megan Tan (Calgary, Alberta) and Aleksi Gottlieb (Plantation, Fla.) posted a 6-0 win at No. 2.
• Bryant closed the match by winning all seven singles matches in straight sets.
• Arianna Oropeza (Weston, Fla.) earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 and Manuela Gomez Estrada (Guayaquil, Ecuador) won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6.
