SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's tennis team celebrated senior day with an emphatic 6-1 victory over Sacred Heart on Sunday afternoon at Fore Court.

With the win, the Bulldogs finish the regular season with a 9-8 overall record and a 2-1 mark in the Northeast Conference. Bryant will now await seeding for next weekend's NEC Tournament.

• The Bulldogs won all three doubles matches, losing only two points. Seniors Ashanti Campfield (Stratford, Conn.) and Stefanie Arroyo (Gurabo, Puerto Rico) won 6-1 at No. 1, classmates Nina Luiggi (Nottingham, England) and Linnea Sjoberg (Stockholm, Sweden) won 6-0 at No. 2 and Megan Tan (Calgary, Alberta) and Aleksi Gottlieb (Plantation, Fla.) won 6-1 at No. 3.

How it Happened (Singles)

• Bryant wrapped up the match with victories at the top five singles spots. Campfield, Arroyo and Luiggi all won, while Arianna Oropeza (Weston, Fla.) and Tan picked up the other wins.
