Sophomores pace Sunday sweep

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Sophomores Joshua Bjornberg (Wallingford, Conn.) and Kevin Hong (Bridgewater, N.J.) each won a pair of events to lead the Bryant University men's swimming and diving team to a pair of victories over St. Francis Brooklyn and NJIT on Sunday morning at the Chace Athletic Center.

The Bulldogs defeated the Terriers, 156-106, and the Highlanders, 144-118, to improve their record to 3-4.

Bjornberg continued his stellar season with victories in the 100 breast (1:00.91) and the 200 breast (2:14.90), while Hong won the 200 back (2:01.71) and the 200 IM (2:01.76). Sophomore Andrew Neggia (Ramsey, N.J.) added a victory in the 200 fly (2:01.25).

The Bulldogs return to action this Friday as they travel to Providence to take on Brown.
