BRYANT WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO LONG ISLAND 5-2
BROOKLYN, NY – The Bryant University women's tennis
team dropped a 5-2 non-conference tennis match Friday afternoon to
Long Island University. The Bulldogs earned both points on
defaults, one at No. 3 doubles and one at No. 6 singles.
The Bulldogs dropped all five singles matches in straight sets,
though Valeria Couto Cuervo played well at No. 3. Couto
Cuervo battled Dara Lahens to a 7-6 decision in the first set,
falling 7-3 in the tiebreaker before dropping a 6-4 decision in the
second.
Bryant will travel to Holy Cross Saturday.
