WOMEN'S TENNIS FALLS TO FAIRFIELD 7-0

FAIRFIELD, CT – The Bryant University women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at Fairfield University Wednesday afternoon at the Walsh Athletic Center Tennis Courts. The Bulldogs, with the loss, drop to 3-7 overall on the year while the Stags improve to 6-1.

Morganne Downing battled Fairfield's Dana Postupack tough in the first set at No. 1 singles, falling 7-4 in the tie-breaker in the opener and dropping a 6-2 decision in the second set.

Katie Francazio fell to Paulina Rys at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-4 while Katie McCabe played well despite falling to Michaela Cerrone, 6-3, 6-2 at No. 5 singles.

Bryant will return to action Mar. 27 at Long Island and at Holy Cross on Mar. 28.
