MEN'S LACROSSE DEFEATS SAINT ANDREW'S 8-3
ANNAPOLIS, MD - Bryan Kaufmann and Kevin Hoagland each scored a
pair of goals as the Bryant University men's lacrosse team picked
up an 8-3 win over Saint Andrew's Saturday afternoon at the U.S.
Naval Academy. The win improves the Bulldogs' record to 2-1
on the season heading into Tuesday's game against Queen's College
(NC).
Looking to bounce back from last Saturday's loss at C.W. Post,
the Bulldogs broke open a 1-1 game with four goals in the second
quarter to take a 5-1 lead into the locker room at the break.
Goalie Michael Kennedy played a strong game in net for the Bulldogs
as the senior preseason All-American made 12 saves while allowing
just three goals on the afternoon.
Sophomore Bryant Amitrano and freshmen Gary Crowley and Connor
Hayes each had a goal in the victory.
