MEN'S SOCCER FALLS IN SEASON
FINALE, 4-0, TO ALBANY SATURDAY

ALBANY - A pair of goals from L.J. Papaleo led the University at
Albany to a 4-0 win over the Bryant University men's soccer team
Saturday afternoon in the Bulldogs' final game of their inaugural
Division I season.
The scoring started in the 32rd minute, when Gaby
Seguin-Gauthier beat Bryant starting goalie Andrew Snell
(South Salem, N.Y.) to the left post off feeds from Erik
DiLorenzo and Claudio Dantas.
Bjorn Bekkers made it 2-0 in favor of Albany (11-3-1) just 93
seconds into the second half, before Papaleo netted his pair of
goals for the 4-0 final.
The Bulldogs (1-14-1) were outshot by the Great Danes, 18-14,
and were led by two shots apiece from Matt Brown (South
Easton, Mass.), Norbert Guery (Andover, Mass.), Ethan Friedman
(Massapequa Park, N.Y.), Kyle Paton (Westfield, Mass.) and
Frankie Hand (Lynbrook, N.Y.).
Snell made four saves in 68 minutes of play while Victor
Tutino (Deer Park, N.Y.) recorded one stop in 22 minutes
in goal. Albany goalkeeper Adrian Foncette made four.
The Bulldogs end their first season in the Division I ranks with
a 1-14-1 overall record.
