Bulldogs Host Bryant Invitational This Weekend

SMITHFIELD, RI -  The Bryant women's volleyball team picked its second Northeast-10 Conference win this season with a 3-0 win over Saint Anselm Tuesday night in the home opener for the Bulldogs.  Likica Grceva (Natick, Mass.) paced the Bryant attack with 16 kills. The senior hit a blistering .609 offensively as the outside hitter had just two errors on 23 swings. 

Setter Tiffany Garry (Frankfort, IL) looked sharp running the Bryant offense as the setter had 32 assists in the match and three of the team's 10 total services on the night.  Junior Maureen Atkins (Fenton, MO) also had three aces to go with 10 defensive digs. 

Freshman Adrienne Boss (Dracut, Mass.) added nine kills and a pair of blocks as Bryant hit a solid .312 for the match.  Stephanie Devlin (Middleton, Mass.) and Alana McNeil (Lawrence, Mass.) each had six kills for the Hawks. 

Bryant will host the Bryant Invitational this Friday and Saturday at the Chace Athletic Center, hosting CW Post (6 pm) and Bloomfield (8 pm) Friday and Queens (12 pm) and Mercy (2 pm) on Saturday.
