MEN'S LACROSSE PICKS UP FIRST WIN OF SEASON, DOWNING ST.
ANDREW'S 17-12
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Sophomore Bryan Kaufmann
scored four goals and added an assist while Jim
Long and Kevin Hoagland each had three
goals to lead the Bryant University men's lacrosse team to a 17-12
win over St. Andrew's in non-conference action Sunday. The
win is the first this season for Bryant (1-2) and the first for
head coach Mike Pressler.
The Bulldogs raced out to a 6-1 lead in the first quarter and
led 11-4 at halftime. Bryant continued to play well with five
more goal in the third before Saint Andrew's added four in the
fourth to close out the scoring.
Corey Crosbie and Zach Rosenow
each added a pair of goals while Corey MacDougall
and Matt Murnane played well defensively with 11
combined ground balls. Michael Kennedy made
17 saves in goal.
Bryant will play at NYIT next weekend.
