Bryant Volleyball Falls to Bentley 3-0 Tuesday Night

WALTHAM, Mass. - The Bentley College women's
volleyball team stayed undefeated in Northeast-10 Conference play
following Tuesday night's 3-0 win over Bryant at the Dana
Center. Game scores were 30-21, 30-24, 31-29.
The Bulldogs were led by Likica Grceva's (Natick, Mass.) 14
kills but as a team were held to just .087 hitting
offensively. Senior Jessica Cegarra (Danville, NH), the
Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week after a strong weekend,
was held to just eight kills on 27 attempts and finished with one
block on the night. Freshman Julie Geonnotti (St. Louis Park,
Minn.) also had eight kills on the night while setter Tiffany Garry
(Frankfort, IL) finished with 32 assists to go with six kills and
four digs.
Bentley (19-8, 10-0 NE-10) was led by freshman Alex Kearney's 14
kills and 12 digs while Carey Demos added eight kills for the
Falcons.
The Bulldogs 16-14 will host Franklin Pierce and Dowling on
Friday night at the Chace Athletic Center and nationally-ranked
Florida Southern on Saturday morning.
