Bio
Shane Benjamin enters his 4th year as Assistant Coach of the Bulldogs. Previously, he functioned as Assistant Coach with the RI Hitmen u14 team from 2019-2020 and as a goalie coach for various youth programs.
Shane served as a goaltender for the Assumption College Greyhounds hockey team during his college years. Prior to that, he played for the South Shore Kings, Boston Jr. Bruins and Bishop Hendricken High School. He graduated from Assumption College in 2016 with a double major in Psychology and Human Service & Rehabilitation Studies. He went on to earn his Master of Education in School Counseling degree from Providence College in 2020. He’s currently in his 3rd year as the Associate Director of Success & Career Advising at Dean College in Franklin, MA.
This season, he is excited to continue to support the on and off ice development of the Bryant hockey players. His continued goal is to help lead the team to the ACHA Dll Regional and National Tournament's.
