Jerell Smith

Jerell Smith enters his first year on the Bryant Universityfootball staff in 2011 as the running backs coach. Smith, whograduated from Bryant in 2009, spent the 2010 season as anassistant coach on Marc Klaiman's staff at Anna Maria College inPaxton, Mass.

Smith had a stellar career in Smithfield, R.I. aftertransferring from Howard University.  The Brooklyn nativefinished third all-time in school history for career rushing yardswith 3,071 and scored 17 career rushing touchdowns.
