While at Louisville, Reifsnyder was successful in recruiting high level student-athletes to compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference and ACC Championships, and several who have excelled competing at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships.
“We are excited to welcome Brian to the Bryant University family,” said Smith. “He comes to Bryant with a tremendous background in all facets of coaching and running a program plus brings credibility and a strong pedigree in recruiting outstanding student-athletes who have been successful academically and competing as Division I collegiate rowers.”
Prior to arriving at Louisville, Reifsnyder was the top assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia for two seasons where he oversaw the recruiting, team budget, travel and student-athlete academic success. During his time at ODU, Reifsnyder was able to develop strong relationships with high school and club coaches throughout Southeast Virginia.
A 2017 graduate of Temple University where he was four-year member of the Owls’ men’s rowing team, Reifsnyder coached two years at Holy Ghost Prep School (Pa.) before arriving at La Salle University in Philadelphia as an assistant coach in 2021. "I am grateful for everyone at Bryant University for this tremendous opportunity to lead the women’s rowing program into the future!” said Reifsnyder. “I can’t wait to hit the ground running this summer and to begin training with the team in the Fall.”
