Allison Crandall begins her 11th year at Bryant University and fifth as Assistant Athletics Director in 2017-18 after serving as the Director of Athletic Communications since 2010.

Crandall coordinates the publicity of Bryant's 22 Division I varsity programs and serves as the primary media contact for men's basketball, volleyball, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse and golf. She oversees all athletic communication, traditional media, social media and digital media initiatives within the department, including the creation of media guides, press releases, game programs and brochures, among other publications.

She also serves the athletic department's print and web-based graphic design needs, producing materials ranging from banners and wall murals to web design and publication layout. Crandall is responsible for the content management and oversight of the Bulldogs' official website, bryantbulldogs.com, as well as the design and creation of other forms artwork for Bryant Athletics and its facilities. Crandall also oversees the Bryant Sports Network, Bryant's digital media and webcasting platform, which broadcasts more than 100 live events each year.

As a member of Bryant's Athletic Administration, Crandall serves on senior staff and is a sports supervisor for field hockey and women's soccer. She currently serves on the Northeast Conference's Sports Management Committee and has previously served as the NEC SID Chair.

Crandall has played a leadership role in developing several successful athletic administration and sports information professionals, with former assistants having gone on to work for the University of Sout Florida, Loyola, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Villanova, Fairfield, Merrimack College, the America East and PrestoSports, among others.

Crandall graduated from Boston University in 2007 with a degree in print journalism. While at BU, she spent three years writing for Boston University's independent daily newspaper, The Daily Free Press. During her tenure at the Free Press, Crandall served as sports editor as well as beat writer for men's basketball and men's ice hockey.

A native of Easton, Pa., Crandall is a member of CoSIDA, ECAC-SIDA and Words Unlimited. She currently resides in Warwick, R.I., with her husband, Tim, and daughter, Delaney.
