Bio

Alex Erban enters his seventh year as coach of the Bulldogs. Serving as head coach since the 2020 season. During his time he has lead the team to 5 post season regional tournaments.

As a player and assistant captain of the Assumption College Greyhounds hockey team from 2012-2016, he was named to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie Team in 2013 and led the team in scoring during his sophomore year. Prior to that, he played for the South Shore Kings and Mount Saint Charles Academy. He graduated from Assumption College in 2016 with a degree in International Business and Sports Management. 

 This season, he is eager to continue his passion for the game on the other side of the boards, coaching the Bulldogs to success — hopefully leading them back to the ACHA DII Regionals and into the National Tournament.

Outside of coaching, Erban remains immersed in hockey as the Manager of his family-owned hockey shop, focusing on two retail locations, team sales, and outfitting the future stars of the game....including hopefully a few future BULLDOGS!
