Alex Denoyelle

Alex Denoyelle

Alex Denoyelle completed his third season with the Bulldogs in 2024-25.

Denoyelle has helped the Black and Gold win back-to-back America East Regular Season titles, while helping produce some of the league's premier catchers. The Bulldogs have had a catcher earn all-conference honors in each of the last two seasons.

Coaching Accolades

  • Has helped Bryant win back-to-back America East Regular Season titles.
  • Coached All-Conference catchers in each of the last two seasons.
  • Part of offensive coaching staff that has helped Bryant lead the AE in scoring, doubles and home runs each of the last two seasons.

In 2025, Denoyelle oversaw the development of freshman Cam Papetti into Bryant's everyday catcher and an America East All-Rookie selection. Papetti tied the Bryant DI freshman record with eight home runs and helped guide a pitching staff that led the America East in ERA, strikeouts and WHIP. Offensively, Denoyelle helped the Bulldogs lead the America East in doubles, home runs and scoring for the second-straight year. Bryant featured the league's Player of the Year in Drew Wyers and four positional players earned America East All-Conference laurels.

Bryant continued to thrive with Denoyelle on staff in 2024, winning America East Regular Season and Tournament titles. The Bulldogs set a program record with 82 home runs. Bryant's catchers also shined under Denoyelle as Jackson Phinney and Brandyn Durand were both named to the America East Second Team. Phinney threw out 10 runners on the year, including three in the NCAA Regional vs James Madison.

The 2023 season saw the Bulldogs hit 70 home runs. Defensively, Denoyelle worked with a catching staff that threw out 18-of-45 runners attempting to steal.
