Angel MacLeod

MacLeod wrapped up her third season as the head coach of the Bulldogs in 2025-26.

In three seasons, MacLeod has led the Bulldogs transition from the Southland Conference into the OVC.

The 2025-26 season saw a lot of firsts for the Bryant women's golf program. The Bulldogs won their first tournament at the Senior Showdown, shooting +10 as a team. Jenelle Valera posted a career low of even par and tied for first place. Valera also became the first all-conference selection in program history, earning All-OVC Second Team honors. The Bulldogs finished sixth at the OVC Championships. Miranda Prober tied for fifth place and shot +17. Valera tied for 18th and shot +28. 

In 2024-25, the Black and Gold placed sixth at the OVC Championships.

MacLeod comes to Bryant from Bishop Feehan High School in Attleboro, Mass. where she coached both the boy's and girl's golf programs for two seasons. In 2023, MacLeod guided the Shamrock's girls to the Massachusetts State Championship in the program's inaugural year and was named the Division I Coach of the Year by the Boston Globe.

Prior to arriving at Bishop Feehan, MacLeod was an assistant coach at Brown University for four years and the Assistant Golf Professional at Norton (Mass.) Country Club for 10 years.

An accomplished player and member of Wannamoisett Country Club in Rumford, RI, MacLeod captured the 2023 Rhode Island Women's Senior Amateur Champion in August. A nine-time Attleboro Area Women's Open champion and four-time Wannamoisett Country Club champion, MacLeod was inducted into the Attleboro Area Golf Association (AAGA) Hall of Fame in 2012.

MacLeod resides in North Attleboro, Mass. with her husband Scott, who earned his MBA from Bryant in 1999, and two children Morgan and Drew.
