As a sophomore: Put together another solid season in 2016-17.

Indoor - Posted the second-fastest 60m hurdles in school history (9.43) ... Posted a top jump of 4.84m in the long jump.

Outdoor - Posted the second-fastest 100m hurdles in school history (15.98) ... Posted a top jump of 4.90m in the long jump ... Named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll.

As a freshman: Enjoyed a strong freshman season with the Bulldogs in 2015-16.

Indoor - Competed in the 60m hurdles, the long jump and the triple jump ... Posted a top time of 9.50 in the 60 hurdles and top jumps of 4.96m in the long and 10.39 in the triple ... 60m hurdle time was good enough for second all time at Bryant ... Also the third-best triple jump in school history.

Outdoor - Competed in the 100m hurdles, the long jump and the triple jump ... Posted a top time of 16.50 in the 100 hurdles and top jumps of 4.82m in the long and 10.27m in the triple. 

Before Bryant: A four-year varsity letterwinner in outdoor track and field ... Also lettered one year in indoor track and field ... Helped her team to four-straight state titles ... Claimed the DI state title in the 55 meter hurdles ... Baystate All-Star in indoor and outdoor track and field as a senior ... Won the 100 meter hurdles at the Baystate conference meet and was named the Co-MVP ... Recipient of the Joe Tranchita Scholarship Award.

Personal: The daughter of Sandra and Samuel Hurwitz, Melissa Hurwitz was born on May 13, 1997 ... Has three sisters ... Sister, Evelyn, was a four-year member of the Bryant University women's soccer team.
