Competed in the shot put and the discus throw... Set a personal best in against UMass in the shot put with a distance of 14.76m, placing fourth... Placed sixth at the America East Championship in the shot put.
As a junior (2022)
Posted the fourth-best indoor shot put in program history with a 14.04 meter throw at Brown... Also competed in the weight throw and discus during indoor and outdoor competition.
As a sophomore (2021)
Outdoor - Competed in the shot and discus ... Posted personal bests in the discus (40.75m) and shot (13.94m) ... Finished 2nd and 3rd in the events in a the tri-meet with AIC and Brown.
As a freshman: Enjoyed a solid rookie season in 2020.
Indoor – Threw for the Bulldogs in six meets during the 2020 indoor season … Set a pair of personal-bests at the URI Coaches Tribute Invitational in shot put (13.15m) and weight throw (12.30m) … Ranks ninth all-time at Bryant for his PR in shot put.
Before Bryant
A three-year varsity letter winner in track and field at Cherokee High School ... Qualified for sectionals as a sophomore and became the first-ever sophomore thrower from his high school to make it that far ... County Discus Champion as a junior and runner-up in discus at regionals ... As a senior, Grant was a region runner-up in discus, sectional qualifier for shot put and discus, and qualified for states in shot put.
