Diego Trejo completed his first season as an Assistant Coach for the Bryant Bulldogs men's tennis program in the 2025-26 season. He spent four years with the program from 2020-24 and was recruited by head coach Ron Gendron.
Trejo helped coach two All-Conference selections in the 2025-26 season, as Miguel Angel Machado was named to the First Team All-Singles for the Big South, and Machado and Daniel Baquero were named to the First Team All-Doubles for the Big South.
Trejo not only excelled on the court but also in the classroom while at Bryant. He was named to the NEC Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2020-21 season as a Freshman and was named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll and selected as an ITA Scholar-Athlete for the 2021-22 season as a Sophomore.
As a player, he earned All-NEC First Team honors in doubles with partner Diego Serra Sparrow during his Sophomore season. He went 2-1 in No. 1 doubles in the NEC Tournament, picking up a win over Brown.
In his final season in 2023-24, he finished 6-9 in doubles play with a 5-6 record at No. 3 doubles, recording doubles wins against Holy Cross, Villanova, and NJIT.
