Competed in the 100 Back, 200 Back, 100 Fly, and the 200 IM… Posted top times of 54.97 (100 Back), 2:02.47 (200 Back), and 2:11.20 in the 200 IM. 

As a freshman (2018-19)
Swam the 400 free, 500 free, 100 back, 200 back and 200 IM ... Posted his best time of the season in 200 IM at the MAAC Championships, finishing in 2:05.61 ... Also posted season-best times of 2:00.15 in the 200 back, 54.63 in the 100 back, 5:34.49 in the 500 free and 4:50.10 in the 400 free.

Four-year member of Shamrocks swim team ... 2018 Eastern Athletic Conference All Star ... Sun Chronicle Conference All Star ... Swimmer for Costa Rican swim team from 2011 to present ... top four in backstroke events.

Son of Eric and Eugenia ... has one sister, Marisa, who swims at Boston University ... Grandfather, Jorge Alpizar, played soccer for Costa Rican National Team in 1950s ... Father, Eric, played tennis at WPI from 1983-86.
