Biography

As a junior (2020-21)
Competed in the 100 and 200 breast this season... Won the gold and silver medal at the NEC Championships in the 200 (1:59.98) and 100 breast (54.57)... Was on the winning relay team in the 200 medley relay... Named to NEC Academic Honor Roll.

As a sophomore (2019-20) 
Wong had a dominant inaugural season for the Bulldogs… He won the gold medals in the 100 and 200 Breast with times of 53.40 and 1:57.52 at the MAAC Championships… Both times set new school records and qualified for an NCAA B Cut… He also helped both winning relay teams in 200 and 400 medley relay capture the gold… Named to the MAAC All-Academic team. 

Before Bryant: Transfer from Southern Illinois University where he was All-MAC second team ... broke the 100-breast school record with a time of 53.86 at the MAC Championships … Recorded three of the top-five 100-breast times in SIU history … 12 top-five finishes … Holds Malaysian national record of 1:02.46 in the 100-meter breaststroke … Competed in Asia Swimming Championships … Named most outstanding swimmer of the year during prep career

Personal: Son of Won Kok Keong and Lee Lee Fei … Has two siblings, Won Fu Liang and Wong Shi Min.
