Before Bryant: A 2009 graduate of De La Salle High School, Nichelman was a two-year varsity letterwinner and standout longstick midfielder for the Spartans... Led team to a North Coast Section Championship in 2009... Garnered First Team All-East Bay honors and was named to the All-EBAL team... 2009 captain... Nominated as the De La Salle Athlete of the Year... Member of the 2008 Vail Shootout Champion NorCal Grizzlies... High honors student.

Personal: Born March 26, 1991... Son of Rick and Sherri Nichelman... Has one sister, Ashley, who played softball for the University of Nevada-Reno from 2006-09... Plans to study marketing.
