BOSTON - The Bryant University men's lacrosse team has earned two America East weekly awards as announced by the organization this morning. 

Owen West was named as the America East Offensive Player of the Week. West recorded a career-high six goals in the 14-9 win against the Highlanders. West's performance featured the most goals scored by a Bulldog in a single game this season. This is West's first Player of the Week honors of the season.

JJ Murphy was announced as the America East Face-Off Specialist of the Week. Murphy went 16-24 at the X and recorded 16 ground balls against the Highlanders. This is Murphy's first Player of the Week honors of the season.

Both Bulldogs were named in the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) D1/D2 Team of the Week.
