BRYANT FACES BINGHAMTON IN REGULAR SEASON FINALE ON SATURDAY

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's lacrosse team closes out the regular season with a trip to Vestal, N.Y., to take on Binghamton. First draw is set for 12:00 p.m.

THE SERIES
  • The Bulldogs are 1-2 in three all-time meetings with Binghamton.
  • The Bearcats outscored Bryant 38-15 in winning the first two games of the series before Bryant flipped the script with a 17-6 victory last season.
  • Isabelle Katter recorded eight points (2g, 6a), while Emily DeGeorge and Amelia Piercy potted four goals each.
AMERICA EAST PLAYOFF PICTURE
  • The No. 1 seed and hosting rights are up for grabs in the final weekend of the regular season.
  • Thanks to its win over UAlbany last weekend, Vermont can claim the No. 1 seed and hosting rights for the 2026 America East Women's Lacrosse Championships.
  • UAlbany would be the No. 1 seed and host if Vermont loses.
  • Bryant can claim a share of the America East Regular Season title with a victory. It would mark the second-straight year Bryant has won a regular season title.
NOTES AND NOTABLES
  • Bryant enters Saturday with a 9-6 overall record and a 4-1 record in America East.
  • The Bulldogs closed out their home campaign with a dominant 22-6 victory over UMBC. It marked the largest margin of victory since the Bulldogs defeated Saint Francis U, 21-6, in 2018.
  • Gabriella Constant enters the weekend first on the team with 46 goals following a five-goal performance vs UMBC.. She is four goals shy of posting the 10th 50-goal season in DI program history.
  • Kenna Kaut (3), Jess DeMeo (3), Lauren Descalzo (2) and Emily Columbus are the only other players to score 50+ goals in a single season in DI program history.
  • Emily DeGeorge picked up four more goals and now has 40 goals and six assists on the season. She has posted 22 points (19g, 3a) in America East play. She leads the league with 3.80 goals per game in league play.
  • Kaelynn O'Brien continues to pace the defensive effort with 35 ground balls, 39 caused turnovers and 37 draw controls. O'Brien ranks 12th nationally in caused turnovers per game.
  • Jessica Tosone is enjoying a career year with 35 ground balls, 36 caused turnovers and 33 draw controls. She's averaging over 3.00 turnovers per game in league play.
  • Ashling Marshall has scored in each of the last nine games, posting 15 goals in the span.
  • With two goals vs UMBC, Riley O'Mara now has 28 on the year. She has scored 11 goals (2.80 per game) over the last four. 
  • Julia Girard set the DI single-game program record with 17 draw controls vs UMBC, breaking the previous record of 16. She is averaging 9.8 draw controls per game in league play.
  • Sierra Donis has allowed single-digit goals in each of her last two games and in seven of her 14 starts.
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
  • Binghamton enters the weekend at 6-8 overall and 2-3 in the America East.
  • Emma Biloshmi leads the way with 47 goals and 54 points.
  • Carla Curth (31g, 10a) and Jess Robinson (17g, 18a) each have 35+ points.
