BRENTWOOD, T.N. –
Jenelle Valera was named to the All-OVC Second Team, announced by the conference on Saturday afternoon.
Valera is the first All-Conference selection in program history for the Bryant women's golf team, a program that began in 2021.
The senior led the Bulldogs in eight out of their nine tournaments this season. Valera is coming off her best career performance this week at the Senior Showdown. She finished with a score of even par and tied for 1
st place, leading the Bulldogs to their first tournament win in program history. She had the lowest round of her career, shooting a 70.
The Bulldogs begin the OVC Championship this weekend (Apr 19-21) at the Dalton Golf & Country Club in Dalton, GA.
