MEN’S LACROSSE WINS A TIGHT BATTLE IN VESTAL, 8-6

VESTAL, N.Y. – The Bryant University men's lacrosse team won the penultimate game of the regular season against the Binghamton Bearcats, 8-6.

With the win, the Black and Gold improve to 6-5 overall record and a 3-2 mark in America East. The Bulldogs have officially clinched a spot in the 2026 America East Men's Lacrosse Playoffs. Bryant plays its final matchup of the regular season against UMass Lowell next Saturday, April 25.

  • Bryant went on a 4-1 run through the rest of the second quarter, including two goals from Owen West and Zac Amend to bring the game to a 7-3 score after three periods of play.

  • Binghamton got the game within one following a strike from Liam Byrne with 3:35 left in the game. The Black and Gold found themselves in striking distance on the next possession, but Lennon stepped into the crease, wiping out a potential goal.
  • Lennon quickly redeemed himself, snatching the rebounded ball out of the air while narrowly tiptoeing on the edge of the crease before firing the ball into the back of the net.
