WOMEN’S LACROSSE TO DUEL DARTMOUTH ON SATURDAY

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's lacrosse team returns to action this weekend and will head north to Hanover, New Hampshire to battle Dartmouth on Saturday, Feb 14. First draw is set for 2:30 p.m.

THE SERIES
  • The Bulldogs enter Saturday 0-2 in the all-time series with the Big Green.

LAST TIME OUT
  • Emily DeGeorge (7) and Riley O'Mara (3) combined for 10 goals in a 16-5 Opening Day victory against Sacred Heart this past Saturday.
  • DeGeorge led the team with seven goals in her first game back after missing the  three games of the 2025 season with injury.
  • Riley O'Mara logged a hat-trick and Rylee Slate potted a pair of goals for the Bulldogs.
  • Julia Girard collected nine draw controls in her collegiate debut while Kaelynn O'Brien tallied five of her own.
  • Jessica Tosone shined on the defensive end finishing with six ground balls and three caused turnovers against SHU. Elise Larsen had a great performance in nearly every phase of the game with six points (2g, 4a), three ground balls and three caused turnovers.
DEGEORGE AND O'BRIEN EARN #AEWLAX WEEK ONE HONORS
  • DeGeorge and O'Brien both earned weekly honors from the America East Conference on Monday, Feb. 9.
  • DeGeorge was named Offensive Player of the Week following her seven goal season debut.
  • O'Brien was named Defensive Player of the Week after posting five draw controls, four caused turnovers, and an assist in the victory.
NATIONAL NOISE
  • DeGeorge is currently second in the nation in goals per game (7.00). She is also tied for third in the NCAA in shots per game (11.00) and tied for second in shot on goal per game (9.00).
  • Tosone is tied for fourth in NCAA in ground balls per game (6.00).
  • Bryant has three players ranked inside the top 20 in caused turnovers per game. O'Brien is tied for eighth nationally, averaging 4.00. Larsen and Tosone are both tied for 16th with 3.00.
  • Girard is tied 13th in the country in draw controls per game (9.00).
SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN
  • Dartmouth posted a 9-6 overall record in 2025, including a 2-5 mark against conference opponents. The Big Green did not qualify for Ivy League Postseason play.
  • Dartmouth was picked seventh out of eight teams in the Ivy League Preseason Poll. The defending conference champion, Princeton took home the top spot in the poll.
  • USA Lacrosse Magazine named senior Maya Kendall to its Preseason All-American third-team. 
  • Kendall was named First-Team All-Ivy and an All-American last season. In 2025, she set the new conference record for draw controls in a single season while also setting a new Dartmouth record with 188. She also led the country in draw controls per game with 12.53. 
  • Dartmouth is coached by Alex McFadden, who is in her seventh season at the helm.
