SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant women's tennis team begins their spring season this weekend, competing against UMass Amherst and the University of Portland.
Both matches will be played at Rally Point in Greenville, RI. The Bulldogs take on the Minutemen on Friday at 11:45 AM and the Pilots on Sunday at 12:15 PM.
The Bulldogs are the defending Ohio Valley Conference champions from last season.
Bryant is led by
Yahli Noy, who is coming off an impressive fall season. Noy represented the Bulldogs at the ITA All-American Championships in North Carolina, competing in the main draw.
She also represented the Bulldogs in the ITA Conference Masters Championship in San Diego. She was one of 30 players in the county representing their respective conference (OVC). Noy picked up an impressive win over Elon 6-3, 6-1, advancing to the Round of 16, before falling short to Pepperdine.
The Bulldogs are poised for another strong season, focused on defending their OVC championship and returning to the NCAA tournament.
