SMITHFIELD, R.I. – In a America East victory, Emily DeGeorge recorded a hat trick in the first quarter to spark the Bulldogs' momentum, while Lily Auger delivered the eventual game-winning goal with just three minutes remaining in the fourth.
Goal Keeper Sam Centofante came in clutch, stopping UAlbany's potential equalizer with 50 seconds left on the clock, and the Bulldogs held on for a crucial 10-9 victory as time expired.
DeGeorge led the Bulldogs with three goals, while Katter paced the team with three assists and five total points, the win moves the Black and Gold to 3-1 in conference play.
Bryant returns to the field next Saturday (April 19th) visiting UVM.

How It Happened
First Quarter
Bryant opened with three quick goals from DeGeorge and Constant while Albany fought back with two goals from Poupard and Mooney. Bryant faced eight shots from the Great Danes while firing back seven. Centofante secured three saves, as Bryant secured a first position shot that DeGeorge capitalized on to end 3-2.
Second Quarter
Scoring slowed for both teams' offensive sides in the second, Bryant's
Emily DeGeorge records as the lone scorer for the Bulldogs securing her Hat Trick, while UAlbany's Mooney gave the Bulldogs two goals of her own to tie up 4-4 at half time.
Third Quarter
UlAbany took its first lead of the game from Poupard's 5-4 goal.
Isabelle Katter put herself on the scoreboard, securing a free position goal to bring the tie back. Katter, back for more, found the net with ease shortly after, giving the Bulldogs a 6-5 lead.

Lily Auger the ball on a man-up opportunity, sending the Bulldog's pass Albany 8-6 to end the third.
Fourth Quarter
O'Mara and Katter ran through the Great Danes' defense to create the first three-goal difference in the game. UAlbany capitalized on a crucial free-position goal before McCauley found the back of the net once more. Auger responded with the game-winning goal, putting the Bulldogs up two.
