Rielly, Elmaleh lift Bryant to first home win of 2025 season

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- Dawson Rielly tallied his fourth hat-trick of the season and Luca Elmaleh potted a pair of goals to lift the Bryant Men's Lacrosse team to a 9-6 victory over the St. John's Red Storm on Saturday afternoon at Beirne Stadium.

With the win, the Black and Gold improve to 3-3 on the year. Bryant will open conference play against UAlbany at home next Saturday, Mar. 15. Faceoff is set for 7:00 p.m.

Rielly led the scoring for Bryant in the victory, finishing with three goals on 10 shots. Elmaleh posted his first-career two-goal game, while Brian Russell finished with two points (1g, 1a). Russell has scored in five of six games since donning the Black and Gold this season.  Patrick Walsh finished with two assists and Scott Einarson stopped 13 shots for Bryant in the win.

  • St. John's Jayson Cardenas scored the first goal of the afternoon at 13:29 in the first quarter following an assist from Bobby Seel.
