HAMDEN, CONN. – Dawson Rielly and Jack Lonsinger combined for nine goals on Saturday helping lead the Bryant men's lacrosse team to a strong 18-10 victory over Quinnipiac in Hamden, Connecticut.
With the win the Black and Gold moves to 2-1 on the year. Bryant returns to the field next Saturday (Mar. 1) when it visits Ohio State.
Brian Russell led the Bulldogs with six points (1g, 5a).
Dawson Rielly recorded five goals for the second week in a row.
Jack Lonsinger finished with five points (4g, 1a) in the win.
Max Dantona registered three points (2g, 1a) against the Bobcats. Owen West potted a pair of goals. Luca Elmaleh finished with two points (1g, 1a) and scored his first career goal.
Scott Einarson stopped 10 shots and
JJ Murphy won 16-of-26 faceoffs, finishing with nine ground balls.

- The Bobcats would strike first on Saturday as Trevor Douglas scored a goal at 13:30 in the first quarter.
- Bryant quickly settled in on offense and proceeded to go on a 4-0 scoring run that was powered by Dawson Rielly. In a less than five minute span, Rielly tallied three goals; two of which came from man-up opportunities.
- Frank Mousa ended the Bobcats scoring drought at 6:12 in the first after winning the faceoff and scoring an unassisted goal.
- Jack Lonsinger sprinted around the back of the cage and got a sidearm shot to find the back net at 5:57.
