Women's Swim and Dive Down Marist On The Road

SMITHFIELD, RI -- The Bryant University women's swimming and diving team competed against Marist College Saturday at McCann Natatorium. The Black and Gold secured a victory of 186-114, dominating from the start.

Notes and Notables:

In the Women's 200 Yard Medley Relay, Bryant took first with a 1:48.03 (Fox, Pistrin, Tonelli-Smith, Figueroa).
Makayla Pearce grabbed another first-place finish in the 1000 Yard Free with a 10:39.68. Aurielle Honsberger took second place with a 10:46.98.
In the 200 Yard Freestyle, Jocie Niemcyk grabbed first place with a 1:56.85 and Charlee LeGallais took third with a 1:59.66.
Jacqui Fox finished first in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a 59.61, followed by Elise Richardson's 1:00.73.
In the 100 Yard Breaststroke, Elayna Pistrin and Alice Stenbeck finished 2nd and 3rd (1:07.37 & 1:08.69).
In the 200 Yard Butterfly, Amanda Witkus took first with a 2:04.98 followed by Ruby Tonelli-Smith's 2:05.06.
Marcella Figueroa grabbed another first-place finish in the 50-yard Freestyle with a 24.76.
In the 3 Meter Dive, Megan Beasley scored 281.18 for first, followed by Molly Gordon who took third with a 218.78.
Jocie Niemcyzk, with a 54.28, grabbed first in the 100 Yard Freestyle, and Charlee LeGallais finished third with a 55.14.
Elayna Pistrin finished third in the 200 Breaststroke with a 2:26.34
Makayla Pearce with another first-place finish in the long-distance events, swimming a 5:14.42 for first in the 500 Yard Freestyle.
In the 100 Yard Butterfly Tonelli-Smith and Witkus went one-two with a 56.70 and 58.56.
In the 1 Meter Dive, Megan Beasley took first with a 268.05.
Ruby Tonelli-Smith finished second in the 200-yard IM (2:11.37).
Bryant closed out the meet with a win in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay at 3:37.64 (Niemcyzk, LeGallais, Schuster, Figueroa).
