Bryant Men's Swim Competes At The U.S. Open Championships

GREENSBORO, NC -- The Bryant University men's swimming and diving team competed in the U.S. Open Championships this week in Greensboro, North Carolina, at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. 

From the men's side: Bryant saw some personal best and standout times. Leo Luna swam his personal best in the 1650 along with Raymond Stelmark following quickly behind.

Notes and Notables: 
  • Conner Lofstrom placed 44th in the Men's 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 46.77.
  • Leo Luna placed 21st in the Men's 1650 Yard Freestyle, swimming a 16:01.94, this is the first time Luna swam a 1650 Free this season. Luna also placed 32nd in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a 4:35.52.
  • Griffin Lajoie placed 41st in the in the Men's 200 Yard Backstroke with a 1:51.66
  • In the 1650 Freestyle, Raymond Stelmark placed 22nd with a 16:12.87 while placing 36th in the 500 Yard Freestyle with a 4:38.89.
  • Nick Austin placed 51st in the 100 Yard Breaststroke at 57.51.
