Bryant To Binghamton For Their First Road Meet Of The Season

VESTAL, N.Y.- The Bryant swimming and diving teams hit the road this Friday for an in-conference matchup against Binghamton. The two-day meet kicks off Friday night, October 18th, at 5 p.m. at the Saunders Aquatic Center in Vestal, N.Y.

This will be both Bryant and Binghamton's first in-conference meeting of the season, and the Black and Gold are in their second year of the Bulldogs vs. Bearcat series.

Last year, the women's swimming and diving team triumphed over Binghamton at home with a final of 155-145, while the men fell to Binghamton by a score of 184 -116.

Bulldog Notes and Notables:

Bryant last competed against Binghamton in 2023 during their home opener.
Last go around, the men's team fell to Binghamton and the women's team won by a ten-point margin of victory.
This year, against Fairfield, diver Megan Beasley took first place in the 1m and 3m dives while Makayla Pearce bested her competitors in the long-distance events, taking first in both the 1000 free (10:36.78) and 500 free (5:15.32).
Diver Christopher Buonocore placed first in the 1m and 3m competitions, and Leo Luna and Raymond Stelmark finished first and second in both the 1000 free and 500 free events last meet against Fairfield.
This will be Bryant's second meet of the season.

About The Bearcats:

The Bearcats recently defeated Le Moyne College for their Homecoming weekend, September 28th. The Bearcat men won 243-57 and the women recorded a 234-66 victory.
This will be Binghamton's second home meet of the season and second meet overall this year.
