SMITHFIELD, RI – The Men's Club Lacrosse team opened the month of April with a Sunday afternoon home game against St. Anselm. The Bulldogs started fast and dominated the pace of the game from the first whistle by scoring often and limiting offensive possessions for St. Anselm. The Bulldogs finished the game with an 11-2 victory moving them to 5-2 on the season before a big few weeks of conference games left to play.

● Brian Wildman: 1 goal
● Tanner McLaughlin: 1 goal
● Colton Scholl: 1 goal
● Lucas Danchisko: 2 assists
● Spencer Peters: 2 assists
● Thomas Fruci: 2 assists
● Jim Harootian: 1 assist
● Evan Leonard: 13/14 on faceoffs
Highlights:
● Evan Leonard dominated the faceoff-x going 13/14 on the day to help the Bulldogs offense control possessions.
● Stout defensive efforts by Fein, Wilson, Marani, Hill, McNeil, LaForest, and Cavallareno held the St. Anselm's offense to just 2 goals on the afternoon making it very difficult for their offense to clear the ball and hold onto possessions.
● Falowski and Cozens combined for 7 of the team's 11 goals on the day.
● McPherson, Wildman, Danchisko, and LaVallee played a crucial role on both sides of the field helping the offense score at will and cause turnovers.
● The Bulldogs' win moved them to #20 in the NCLL Division 2 national rankings.
