SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Bryant University men's tennis team picked up a pair of victories on Saturday, defeating Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart. 

Bryant opened the day with a 5-0 win over Quinnipiac in its first match at the outdoor courts, before sending a team to earn a 5-2 win at Northeast Conference foe SHU. The Bulldogs are now 9-16 overall and 4-0 against NEC competition.     

Quinnipiac Recap

• Playing at its outdoor courts for the first time this spring, the Bulldogs rolled in the doubles vs the Bobcats. Bryant won at all three spots by scores of 6-3, 6-3 and 6-1. 
• In singles, Aryaan Sen and Diego Trejo won in straight sets at No. 3 and No. 4.
• Marcus Macaulay rallied to win in three sets at No. 5, while Will Pellegrini earned a win by forfeit at No. 2. 

Sacred Heart Recap

• In the nightcap, Bryant once again dominated in doubles. The Bulldogs won the three doubles matches by scores of 6-0, 7-5 and 6-1. 
• The Black and Gold then quickly clinched the match with victories at No. 5, No. 2 and No. 4. Leonardo Mileikowsky won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 5, Teague Burger won 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2 and Andrew Pregel won 6-4, 6-3 at No. 4.
• Grant Pertile added a 7-6, 6-2 victory at No. 6.
